Standard 2 Nights / 3 Days Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar, hotel check-in. Evening visit to Har Ki Pauri for the world-famous Ganga Aarti.

Day 2: Full-day local sightseeing. Visit Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple (via ropeway), Daksh Temple, and local markets.

Day 3: Morning breakfast, checkout, and departure (or transfer to Rishikesh for an extended tour).

Haridwar is in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and is a popular destination of pilgrimage for Hindus from all over the world. Located between the Shivalik Hills in the north and northeast and the south river Ganges, Haridwar inspire inspired by spiritualism and nature. Haridwar blessed by all the gods of the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh was previously known as Kapilsthan and Mayapuri.

Considered to be one of the seven holiest places on earth for the Hindus, Haridwar is also one of the four places where the "elixir of immortality," fell from the sky, when a fight for the elusive pot of nectar of immortality was take place between gods and demons. The Brahma Kund at Har-Ki-Pauri is the place to Haridwar, where the elixir of immortality is believed to have fallen.

The other three positions are Nasik, Ujjain and Allahabad. As these places, also in Haridwar Ardh Kumbh and Haridwar Maha Kumbh Mela performed after each six and 12 years respectively, which attract 1000s of pilgrims and visitors from around the world.

Apart from the famous Har-Ki-Pauri in Haridwar, which is well known for its magnificent aartis and the floating diyas, there are some other places in Haridwar Ghats were visited by pilgrims in good numbers to bathe and provide offerings their god. These are: Gangadwara, Kankhal, Nila Parvata, Bilwa Theertha, and Kussavata. The beautiful sight of 1000s of diyas with Calendula flowers floating on the waters of the sacred river is very enriching, and it turns out to be the experience of a lifetime.

Apart from the many bathing Ghats, Haridwar is also known for its many temples – like Varanasi. Gangadwara Temple, Chandi Devi Temple , Mansa Devi Temple, Maya Devi Temple , Daksha Mahadeva Temple, Vaishno Devi Temple and Bharat Mata Temple are just a few of the many well-known temples of Haridwar to visit.

For wildlife and nature lovers, there is the Rajaji National Park at Haridwar which hosts many species of flora and fauna. Spread over an area 820 square kilometers, the Rajaji National Park is home to 23 species of mammals and 315 bird species.

Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar – Rishikesh
You will be picked up from Delhi and depart for Haridwar by road. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Haridwar hotel.

Day 2: In Haridwar
Morning after breakfast you go for a full-day excursion to Haridwar. Visit the temples and the Ghats at Haridwar covering the Mansa Devi Temple, Gurukul Kangri University, Bharat Mata Temple. Evening witness the Ganga Aarti at the Har-Ki-Pauri. Return to Haridwar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Haridwar – Delhi
After breakfast you depart for Delhi.
